DEEPAWALI or Festival of LIGHT is being celebrated in Nepal

DEEPAWALI - A festival of light is being observed in Nepal from 11^thNovember 2012 to 15^th November 2012. Since the country follows lunar calendar the festival falls on the different dates each year and mainly falls on the new moon side of the month October - November. The festival

is mainly remembered as the festival of LIGHT, FIREWORKS, DELICIOUS DISHES AND SWEETS. It is celebrated for total of 5 days by almost all the ethnic groups living in the country and abroad. The festival is the festival of happiness, love, prosperity and above all the entry into the light of wisdom from the darkness
